FAQ'S
A little more info!
Where are you based?
I am based in County Wexford, but love to travel throughout Ireland & overseas capturing weddings. Get in touch and let me know where I will be headed! So far, I've photographed weddings in Scotland, Italy, France & Spain. Mexico is next on my list!
Will we get to meet you before our day?
Absolutely! it would be lovely to meet you before your wedding day. It is important for us to get to know each other a little better. I completely understand, due to travel distance and busy lives this is sometimes only possible through email, over the phone or on video call. However, where circumstances permit, in person is so lovely. We can chat over a coffee (& cake!) and I can show you my beautiful fine art albums in person.
What is your Approach?
I work in a very relaxed, friendly manner and like you to feel at ease throughout the day. I am so very aware that it is your wedding day and you want to enjoy time with all of your favourite people, so I strive to have you back to them as quickly as possible. We do need to allow time for photographs, this includes family photos, bridal party and bride & groom portraits. That is, if those particular elements are of importance to you, it is of course your day. We chat about all details carefully before your wedding day arrives. So that you trust everything is in safe hands and can both relax and just do what you are meant to – have a wonderful fun filled day!
We are getting married in Winter, can you please advise?
Certainly and Winter weddings can be so beautiful. When organising a Winter wedding, I would advise that you book your wedding ceremony for 12:30 or 1pm, where possible. Day light fades quickly during Winter Months and often this is at 3pm. Leaving us very little time to avail of natural light for your photographs.
What is a first look?
A first look is when only the two of you meet before your ceremony. It is a lovely way to capture those special moments when you see each other for the first time. We then spend about 30 minutes taking your Bride & Groom portraits. Leaving you with the whole afternoon to hang out with your guests. This is especially great in the Winter Months if you are keen to have a later ceremony, such as 2 or 3pm.
What if we have a rainy day?
The most important thing is to embrace it! One thing we cannot change is the weather. We can control how we react to it. I will always have a plan B for you - church doorways, old buildings, large drawing rooms with big windows, dense overhead foliage, there are many options and we will chat about them in advance so that we are prepared for all eventualities! Sometimes brollies and wellies are the perfect combination.
Do you work alone?
Yes, I work alone. However, if a second shooter is required, I have lots of amazing talented colleagues which I can call upon. Please enquire for quotation.
Do you offer Videography?
No I don't. I focus solely on photography, but I am more than happy to recommend some amazing videographers that I have worked with over the years.
Can I buy a Wedding Album seperately?
Yes you sure can. If you have chosen the digital package and decide you would like an album a little down the track that is no problem.
What are couple shoots?
Whether you have just gotten engaged or would simply like to have some lovely photographs of the two of you, a couples shoot is perfect! We spend some time having fun, taking photos in gorgeous locations. Such as, up rugged hills, in overgrown forests, windy beaches or somewhere we choose together. It is all about documenting the two of you interacting with each other in a natural, fun way.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
During quieter Months you will receive your photos within 6 to 8 weeks. Summer Months tend to be a much busier period, so it can be from 8 to 10 weeks. I will send you a link to your private online gallery, followed by your USB package. If you have chosen an album package, we take the next step in choosing your preferred images for the layout.
